About Us
The expertise of Activated Carbon Filters Ltd lies in the development and manufacture of filters to remove gaseous contaminants and odours from the air. Identifying the type of carbon most effective at removing a particular type of contaminant is only part of the equation. Balanced alongside this must be the requirement to provide sufficient activated carbon of the required type to remove the level of contaminant present, supplied in a housing of an appropriate size with an acceptable pressure loss at a price the customer is willing to pay.
Activated Carbon Filters Ltd have achieved this goal by utilising a range of base and impregnated carbons. An easy-to-use guide is supplied for clients to identify the most effective type of carbon for the contaminant they need to remove (see Testing & Certification). Special combinations of different types of activated carbon may also be prepared to enable the filter to deal with a range of contaminants. The ability to combine carbons, either as a mix or as layers, is also available.
